Summary:

Chia Teck Chee is an associate professor with the Natural Science academic group of the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University. He received his PhD from Dalhousie University, Canada. He was the Singapore Representative of the Asia-Pacific Physics Teachers and Educators Association (1987-90) and foreign Editor of the Chinese Journal of Laser Medicine & Surgery (1994-95). He was the Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Physics Update (1990-1999).

His main research interests include: (a) Applications of Physics in Medicine and Biology; (b) Microcomputer and Physics Education; and (c) Applied/Theoretical Physics. He has written articles in the area of applications of Datalogger in physics experiments that have been published in Physics Education, School Science Review and Journal of Computers in Mathematics and Science Teaching.
